8-Week Strength & Conditioning Block

 

Overview

This 8-week program is designed to help triathletes build a stronger, more resilient body that performs efficiently across all three disciplines — swim, bike, and run. The focus is on improving muscular endurance, stability, and power while reducing the risk of overuse injuries. Each session complements your training, not competes with it.

 

Program Goals

  • Develop total-body strength and postural control

  • Enhance force production for improved swim strokes, cycling efficiency, and running economy

  • Build durability to handle higher training volumes and race intensity

  • Improve mobility, stability, and core control
