Why SPC Training Plans Are Locked All SPC training plans are locked to your account. This is intentional and designed to protect both your progress and our work. 1) Protects the plan structure Every week is built with purpose: stress → adapt → recover. Locking the plan prevents well-meant “tinkeritis” (swapping, stacking, skipping sessions) that can quietly break the flow and stall progress. 2) Keeps progression safe We manage training load using tools such as TSS, IF, ramp rate, and planned recovery windows. Random edits can spike fatigue, dilute key sessions, or create hidden overload. Locked plans keep stress exactly where it belongs. 3) Ensures clean, meaningful data When sessions stay intact, your completed workouts line up with their original intent. That gives us clearer analysis, better trends, and smarter adjustments when you request your next plan. 4) Reduces decision fatigue You shouldn’t be redesigning your training week on the fly. Fewer decisions lead to better consistency. You show up, do the work, and move on — we handle the steering. 5) Protects recovery days Rest is training. Locked easy and rest days stop “I’ll just squeeze one in…” from turning into the overload that delays adaptation and increases injury risk. Real-World Examples “I’ve got a late shift tomorrow — can I swap Tuesday’s bike with Wednesday’s easy run?” → We’ll swap it and adjust the following 48–72 hours to keep load balanced. “I missed today — should I double up tomorrow?” → Usually no. We’ll re-distribute instead of stacking fatigue. “I’ve woken up sniffly / sore throat.” → Back off and message us. We’ll modify to protect recovery and immunity.
